He was born in 1953 in Saint Petersburg. In 1978 he graduated from the Institute of Painting,
Sculpture and Architecture named after I.Repin, the Academy of Fine arts,
classes of Prof. V. Oreshnikov. Since 1978 he took part in numerous art exhibitions
in Russia and abroad. Since 1983 he is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
Since 1990 he is a member of the Art Association "Lavr Art Centre".
His works are kept in the museums of Russia and also in private collections in Japan, Canada, France, America, Belgium, Sweden and Germany.
